Robo-Defense
| Anti-Wedge | This defense usually keeps the flippers and wedges at bay. If they cannot get underneath you, then their primary weapon is essentially removed. These are usually in the form of a slant-side bot body, or plate steel rectangles bolted loosely to the sides of a bot. Now they can still hit you hard enough to nudge you over a bit and then they have their weapon underneath. Popular anti-wedge systems are usually hinged plate steel, or wide strips of spring steel attached to the sides. Check out mechavore, GARM, or biohazard for a good idea.

| Titanium | A fantastic material both for structural might, and armor. Titanium is as light as aluminum, but strong as steel. The plus here, is that you can implement a thicker sheet of titanium with more resistant strength than plate steel. It is also more abrasive resistant. The down side here is cost. Drilzilla has titanium armor strong enough to the point that Raser could not penetrate it. I'm guessing its kinda cramped in Drillzilla's chest cavity though......BTW, what kind of drive system is that?

| Speed | Like they say, the best offense is a good....defense and...............anyway, agility is a massive weapon when dueling in the arena. If your foe cannot catch you, he certainly cannot inflict any damage. AND you have a higher probability of doing your own damage. 2 wheeled bots are spry little creatures, but harder to control. 3 wheelers a sweet and nimble, but easily comparable to 4, or even 6 wheelers. When that many tires touch the ground, more than likely they have 'tank-drive' capability. Extreme Damage has 8 tires, yet it is spry enough to give Toro a run for his money............ya never know........

| Offense | Usually a great defense is to implement a means of making the opponent reconsider getting near you. Nothing says defense like spinning hammers, crushiung jaws, or thrashing about with your blades. Who would charge straight into Sunshine Lollibot? Someone who doesn't love their 'bot would..........either that or they love to see machines explode. Can't say that I blame them.
